SUPREME FASTENERS AND COMPONENTS can trace its origin to almost 50 years ago when Supreme Plastics Pty Ltd pioneered the injection moulding, within Australia, of nylon (ie. PA 6.6) Screws, Nuts, Washers & Bolts.

Under the brand name SUPREME NYLON FASTENERS the products, that were uniquely manufactured within Australia, included BSW Thread, BA Thread and it was not until 1991 that we were able to offer Metric sizes as well. Our stock range includes various different head styles of screws with thread sizes from as small as 1/8″ to 5/8″ (Imperial) and 2mm to 20mm (Metric), Nuts from 3/16″ to 3/4″ (Imperial) and 2mm to 24mm (Metric) and Washers from 1/8″ to 1″ (Imperial) and 2mm to 36mm (Metric).

In 2000, the company’s name was changed to SUPREME FASTENERS AND COMPONENTS to reflect the the fact that we have in our product range not only traditional nylon fastener products but also similar items in different types of plastic. As well as this, in conjunction with our associate companies located throughout the world, we are also able to source and offer our customers a range of plastic based components such as  Panel Fasteners, Hole Plugs, Wire Handling Hardware and Accessories, Cable Tie Hardware, Plugs, Handles and various styles of Knobs.

In 2009 SUPREME FASTENERS & COMPONENTS produced a 20pp full colour catalogue which introduced a large number of new products to our customers. These included a vast range of Shoulder/Insulating washers (also known as Top Hat Washers) as well as a comprehensive range of Spacers and Protection Caps. A full range of Black coloured Nylon Screws, Nuts and Washers also became available for the first  time.
